1. Print the document from the program as you normally would (i.e. Microsoft Word). Be sure to go into the print dialog instead of instant print, unless you have set ecoPrint2 Pro as your default printer during ecoPrint2 installation.
2. In the Print window, select ecoPrint2 as the printer. You can usually choose this option from the drop-down menu. Then click ‘OK’.
3. In a few moments, the window 'Economy printing – ecoPrint2 Pro Ink & Paper Saver' will open. If you are still using the trial version, this additional window will also pop up:
Until you purchase a registration key, you must click 'Try' to proceed to the main program portion of ecoPrint2 Pro, which looks like this.
4. If you are satisfied with the layout and wish print a document using the default or previous ink saving settings, go to the Print dialog under the File menu in this window.
5. This time, choose your real printer driver instead of ecoPrint2, and click "OK".
